April has concluded and provided SW Montana with much needed snow and rain. I watched the Shower Falls Snotel receive over 4 feet of snow during a 4-day storm system in mid April and although I wasn't able to get up there to get a first hand look, it was awesome to see. A lot of regions around SW Montana were in dire need of these April storms. For us it's meant some of the best skiing all year, but more importantly the collective Bozeman population can take a sigh of relief as our overused watershed replenishes. I expect skiing will be good higher in the mountains late into May and we're excited to start reaching out into steeper big lines as the spring snowpack sets up. Camping and Backpacking season will be upon us soon and we're excited to get out and see the forest floor again. Checkout our store for any skiing, camping, or mountaineering gear you might need for your adventures. Until next time, take care!
